To all of Linda's family may all of your memories be of good times as a family. I was a classmate in the Regional school of nursing and she was a special person, on her memory I have planted a tree in my garden.Sandi Sissons

My sincere condolences to Linda´s family. I have known her since public school and remember we both enjoyed the years of 4H club meetings in Rosslyn and was her neighbour on Gardner Road. She was such a lovely person, gone too soon.

I met Linda almost 45 years ago when I started work at the Health Unit. We had children around the same time and worked and socialized together. Even moving away from Thunder Bay twice we stayed connected. We worked in genetics at the same time and it allowed us to get together when Linda came for mtgs etc and we spent some great sessions in the Chelsea Hotel in Toronto. One of those friends who, how ever distant geographically , always close. We shared so many great memories in good times and rough times. Linda was a special friend. She was kind and funny and so talented and bright. She will be so missed by so many. My heart goes out to Alan and Beth and family at the loss of a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

I attended public school and Lakehead Regional School of Nursing with Linda. She was a kind and vivacious soul that exemplified all that was good in our profession. The world seems a duller place without her presence. A candle in the wind has been extinguished.

I was so shocked to read that Linda has passed. I knew Linda from working on maternity. She was a warm, caring person in her professional life and personal life. She was a great co-worker.
May your memories of her bring you peace.
She will be missed by many.

Oh Linda, our world has lost a beautiful person with you passing away. I worked with you in 1973 when I had just graduated from nursing. You took me under your wing and were so kind and helpful. I always knew it would be a great shift when you were on with me. I later met up with you again when you were my first-born son Scott's public health nurse.
To your hubby Allan and to your daughter Beth, I am so very sorry to hear about your great loss. She will be missed by many people as she touched a lot of lives. I hope the memories you all made together will bring you some comfort. I know right now they may bring more sadness but in the future they will help you to heal.

My condolences to the family. Linda and I took golf lessons together when we first started golfing. Many laughs and bad hits we did
