(MAKI)
It is with great sorrow and saddened hearts that Carla & Tom Chalat announce
the sudden passing of their daughter Lindsay Erin Boyer on January 28, 2016
in Maple Ridge, BC at the young age of 35. Lindsay was born on July 8, 1980
to Carla & Bruce Maki. We felt so very blessed to have such a beautiful baby
girl. Lindsay was born in Thunder Bay and attended local schools, graduating
from Westgate. She did well with computer programs and received a diploma
from BDO Dunwoody. Lindsay added to her resume by being employed in a
variety of positions. Lindsay was thrilled to give birth to her son Bryn Christopher Boyer on May 13, 2006, which happened to be Mother's Day. She
cherished her son with all of her heart. Lindsay loved the outdoors and all
that was offered in the wilderness. Camping, canoeing, catching rays, and of
course fishing. Lindsay had a heart of gold and would often help others by
supporting them, giving of herself, always smiling with her bright eyes and
letting people know who she was there for them. She touched so many people's lives with her kindness, laughter and understanding. She loved animals and strays throughout her life. She is survived by her son Bryn Christopher Boyer, Carla & Tom Chalat, Bruce (Wendy) Maki, her love Joshua Masse, her sisters Tammy Chalat (George), Kim Mann (Mike Marozzo, grandmothers, aunts, uncles, cousins and 3 nephews as well as all of our extended families, and of course all of Lindsay's very special friends. Lindsay is predeceased by her brothers Christopher Bruce and Kyle Maki, her Papa Petulance and her papa Chalat and other relatives. A Celebration of Life for Lindsay will be held at the West Arthur Community Centre at 1914 W. Arthur Street from 1:00pm-4:00pm on Sunday, February 21, 2016. Our family would like to thank everyone that were involved in Linday's life and gave her so much joy, love and support. Lunch will be available. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Shelter House, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
