LIONEL BOUDREAU Obituary

BOUDREAU Oct 8,1939 ~ Feb 12, 2026 (86)
Lionel "Junior" Boudreau passed away comfortably Thursday, February 12th, 2026, surrounded by family.

Lionel was from Saint Leonard, New Brunswick, born at the nearest hospital in Van Buren Maine. Holding dual citizenship, he was given the opportunity to work throughout Canada all the way down to Texas. This is likely where he picked up his affection for NASCAR. As could be seen when you visited his home, the little blue house on Brock Street, covered by Dale Earnhardt paraphernalia.

Lucky enough to have found 3 great loves in his life, his family had many branches. He had his first 4 children with Claudette, he gained a daughter and spent a lifetime with May, then found care and companionship with friend turned wife Lucy and her family. He is survived through 3 generations of descendants, having had the opportunity to bless his Great grandchildren before he returned to his Creator.

His joy for life was almost childlike. Hobbies and interests included collecting coins and building model trucks. When he could, he spent his time helping neighbors and friends, hanging out with any pit crew that would have him, and telling tales from his lifetime in construction.

He is survived by his wife Lucy "Cookie" Day, brother Gerald Boudreau (Claire), Sister Rita Boudreau. Children Suzanne Boudreau, Richard Boudreau (Carolina), Michel Boudreau, Sylvia Boudreau (Gerald), and Sherry Gaudette. Grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, long-standing family friends and many in-laws.

He was predeceased by his parents Marie Bourget & Lionel J Boudreau, baby brother Paul, wife May Boudreau (nee Gaudette), and grandson Allan St. George.
