LISA DAWN CORMIER (née Rajala)
With deep sorrow, the family of Lisa Dawn Cormier (née Rajala) announces her passing on November 25, 2025, in Thunder Bay, Ontario, at the age of 61. Born July 12, 1964, in Nipigon, Ontario, Lisa is survived by her son James, his wife Olga, and 3 grandchildren Lillian, Alexander and Daria. Lisa is also survived by siblings Ilona (Mike), Rita, Lynn (Terry), and Katy, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Lisa, born into a large family, was predeceased by her parents, Edwin and Lillian Rajala, as well as 5 of her siblings Marjorie, Judy, Richard, Hector, and Wendy. She sadly lost her beloved son David, as well.
Lisa will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, and her memory will forever remain in our hearts. Her life will be celebrated at a private family gathering to be held at a future date.

My earliest memories were spent not just with my sister, but my aunts and uncles, and most of that time at my grandparents at Stillwater, Nipigon. Auntie Lisa was just a few years older than me but went swimming in the creek with us and of course in our sleepovers upstairs. She was outgoing, mischievous, and full of energy. We listened to records, singing along with Lynn, Wendy and Katy to wooden spoons for microphones. I hope she finds music in her afterlife.
