LONNY POULIN Obituary

LONNY ADAM CASE POULIN December 26, 1972- December 7, 2023
It is with profound sadness we announce the tragic death of our loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Lonny touched a lot of lives.

Born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Lonny was a self-employed contractor who loved flipping old homes, working with cleaning up his community, and building the family's forever dream home.

Lonny's biggest accomplishment was his children. Everything he did was for his family. Travelling was big for them, swimming at the complex or outside, camping, sledding, movies, or anything with his children. Lonny also loved spending time in the sauna.

Lonny leaves behind his pregnant wife Karli, his children Mercedes, Zachary, Avery, Bentley, Amora, his sisters Audra, Haley Poulin and many nieces and nephews.

Lonny is predeceased by his mom Barbara Stewart and dad Norman Poulin, baby girl Poulin, and numerous family and friends.

Lonny's family would like to thank all the people who cared and supported us in our time of grief.

Funeral Services for Lonny will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre presided by Rev. Gordon Holroyd at 11:00 a.m. Visitation for family and friends will begin one hour prior to the service.

For those unable to attend in person, the service will be livestreamed and archived at www.harbourviewfuneral.ca where condolences may be offered as well.

It was a brief visit that left a forever impact.on me An impact filled with kindness, welcoming, laughter and love. May you journey well into the spirit world Lonny.

I was stunned by the news. I am so very sorry for your loss.

I don't know Patrick (who posted below), but I mirror his feelings and words about Lonny - Indeed, the Loony I knew would give you the shirt off his back. He will be missed!

I remember meeting Lonny when he was just a young boy, because I knew his parents. One thing I can say that is memorable about Lonny, and I´m sure there´s many that will agree, is that he had one of the biggest, happiest, honest smiles in the world! If you weren´t sure from a distance, all you had to see was his smile and you knew it was him! I watched him over the years grow into a physically hard working man, that did what he had to and knew how to, to survive. He was one person that would give to those that were down on their luck, and didn´t expect anything in return. He was such a good Dad, no matter what, no matter where! I was told that he loved being a Dad, and that he wanted to have as big a family as the Creator, and Karly were going to let him have, and I know he would have loved each and every one of you immensely, and still will, from above. His children will have one of the best Guardian angels there is, guiding them, with his loving spirit!
I want to tell Lonny´s family how sorry I am for your loss, and I know how much pain you´re all in. I hope that in time you all can let all your happier memories flow into your hearts and help you through this sad, sad time. Please take care of one another, and always remember that Lonny, your husband, father, Uncle, Brother, and Friend, Loved you all!
Sending lots of love, healing vibes and strength, and big warm hugs, to Lonny´s family! He will be dearly missed!

My heart breaks for the family for the loss of such an amazing man and father and friend to so many of us.

He was full of love for his family! Love for his friends and love for strangers who became his friends, He led by example by never judging those fighting their own battles! But supporting them and trying to help so many of his friends.

He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it!! There was nothing he wouldn´t do to help anyone... He never judged and he truly had a heart of gold! and a silver tongue with a gift to always be there to say the right thing at the right time...

An amazing father to his children and provider to his family! I always looked up to you like my big brother!!! I will always have so much respect and love for you bro! You showed me how to be a better person so many times with your actions!

you are missed terribly by so many

Love you always!!! fly high and rest in paradise Lonny!
