Lorne was always such a friendly person always ready with a smile or a handshake. Having worked with him as a board member and travelling with him and Jean t o several conferences we enjoyed many good times with lots of laughter
Faith was important to him and even on these brief trips the four of us found time for mass
Our prayers are with you all as we know his presence will be missed by all his family

Thoughts and prayers for the enitre Allard Family. Thinking about you. So many great memories of Lorne. He was such a kind soul. Some of my fondest memories are all the days that I was able to spend with him, my dad, and Ross on the fishing streams around Thunder Bay. I will cherish those memories always. Rest in Peace Lorne.

Mrs. Allard and family. Please accept my condolences on the passing of your husband. Lorne truly had a passion for sports but more importantly his passion for getting kids involved in sports is evident all over the city. His love for baseball and the Port Arthur National Little League is clearly evident at George Burke Park and will always be greatly appreciated and remembered by all kids past, present and future. All the changes at George Burke Park can be attributed to Lorne, and his friends Frank Mauro and Mario Nucci. He was truly a sportsman in every sense of the word; a Player,a Coach,a Promoter and Builder. Above all else he did this because he loved to see children involved in sports. So on behalf of all Little League kids in our city, thank you Lorne and rest in peace.
