It is with deep sorrow that the family of Luigi Francesco Guidolin, age 61 years, announce his unexpected passing on May 16, 2022 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. Waiting to welcome him into their arms were his loving parents, Tarcisio and Angela Guidolin who predeceased him in 2008 and 2021. Louie was known for his larger than life presence, his sense of humour, and his ability to light up every room that he entered. But above all, he will be remembered as a kind, loving, generous, and fiercely loyal man who gave of himself freely and with all of his heart. In 2004 his life was forever changed by the birth of his daughter, Francesca. She was his pride and joy, his entire world, and he loved her beyond measure. Louie also leaves behind his brother Harry (Shelley), sister Linda, nephews Michael, Dante, and Anthony Guidolin, Colton Kramer, and niece Mackena Kramer, brother-in-law Gary Kramer, extended family in Thunder Bay and Italy, as well as friends too numerous to mention. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Sargent and Son Funeral Home. Cremation will follow and a interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or to the Charity of Your Choice.

I am deeply saddened by the death of my friend and (brother) as we called each other. He was a loyal friend one of whom you do not get many in this life . Although he suffered terribly with his health he never faulted to smile and share a laugh with you. We talked every week no matter what country I am exploring and we shared my adventures. He was loved by all who met him . I lived him like a brother a part of me goes with him . Until we meet again my friend your are not suffering anymore . Love you forever my friend and Brother
