Marcel Cure Obituary

On Friday, July 29th, 2005, Marcel Cure passed away in Thunder Bay, ON. He was born and raised in Lac du Bonnet, MB and when old enough, moved East to Thunder Bay to make his mark on the world with his excellent carpentry skills and whatever other trades came his way, he was a master at all. In his retirement he divided his time between his beloved cabin in Thunder Bay and with his extended family in Lac du Bonnet.Marcel is survived by his companion Albina Cure and her children: Donny (Pat) Cure, Donna Lee (Glen) Brincheski, Della (Randy) Betker, Danny (Melissa) Cure, Doug (Stephanie) Cure, Doris (Peter) Lussier; fifteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren he considered his own, and his faithful dog 'Rosie'. He was predeceased by his first wife Elma; brothers: George, John, Robert; and sister Jean.Funeral Services for the late Marcel Cure will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3rd, in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, presided by Fr. Richard Kowalchuk of Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, Ontario friends may make donations in Marcel' memory to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. Manitoba friends may make donations to Lac du Bonnet Community Centre."
