Marco Caputi Obituary

1925 - 2004Marco Caputi was born June 1, 1925 in Zara, Italy. He unexpectedly passed away on November 20, 2004 at Thunder Bay Regional Hospital. A long time resident of Thunder Bay, Marco was a gifted artist with magic hands in many mediums, and a passionate chess player and member of the Chess Federation of Canada. He will be greatly missed by surviving family members. Sister, Elena (Ina) Caputi Banini. Two daughters, Ileana Faulconer and Marina McEachern. Son in law, Wayne Faulconer, and two granddaughters, Casandra Faulconer and Chandra Racic. Also, numerous nieces and nephews here and abroad. Marco was predeceased by son, Marco (Marchetto) Caputi Jr. in 1987, and wife Licia Climich Caputi in 1999. According to Marco's wishes, cremation and family entombment services will be held privately. Friends and family are welcome to Marina's home at 257 South Algoma Street, Thursday November 25, 2004 between 1:00pm and 4:00pm.
