Marie Heath Obituary
Marie Lea Margarite (Bougie) Heath, age 92 years, of Thunder Bay passed away peacefully in Bethammi Nursing Home on Thursday afternoon, June 7, 2007. She was born in Port Arthur on July 31, 1914. Margarite was a loving wife to William A. Heath for seventy one years, and a devoted mother to her five children. Margarite was a helpmate to her husband with his construction business for many years. She loved music and playing the piano; working with flowers and ceramics, hunting with her husband, and travelling with him and their relatives. Margarite will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her sons: Gerald Heath (Beverly Raby) of Kenora, and George (Shirley) Heath; her daughter, Sherley-Ann (James) Smith; nine grandchildren: Debbie, Gregory, and Robert Heath, Michael, Daryl, Cindy-Lee Fedell, Kristie and Bryan Heath, Kathleen and Caroline Sottile; eight great-grandchildren; and her sister Marie Frowen. She was predeceased by her husband William A. Heath; son Maurice Heath; daughter Loretta Sottile; and grandson, Domonic Fedell. Funeral Services for the late Margarite Heath will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12th, 2007 in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, presided by Rev. Father Lino Santi of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Our Lady of Charity Mausoleum, St. Andrew's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Margarite to the Alzheimer Society of Thunder Bay."
