Mario Pasciullo Obituary

PASCIULLOMr. Mario Pasciullo, age 65 years, a resident of Thunder Bay, died in Thunder Bay Regional Hospital, Port Arthur, Wednesday, September 06, 2000. Born and raised in Castlemauro, Italy, Mario came to Canada in 1956. He joined the Local Labourers Union #607 and worked as a Cement Finisher for 40 years. Mario found enjoyment in gardening and taking care of his fruit trees as well as fishing and hunting. He was also a member of St. Dominic's Church. Mario is survived by his wife Lucia; sons Berto (Alison), Tony of British Columbia and Sergio and fiancee Karen Marconi; daughter Lisa (Chris) Petersen; grandchildren Mitchell, Brody, Nelson and Shelby Pasciullo; brothers Donato of Thunder Bay and Giovanni and sister Maria both of Belgium. Nephew Michael Pasciullo, niece Annette Pasciullo as well as other relatives also survive. Mario was predeceased by his parents and his brother Angelo. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 8, 2000 when friends and family will gather for Mass of the Resurrection in St. Dominic's Church at 10:00 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Dan Lapolla c.s. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Prayers will be offered on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. in St. Dominic's Church. If friends desire memorials to the Lung Association would be appreciated. 'Pa, I welcome your spirit in me so you can still see the world through my eyes!' Love forever, your son, BertoA tree will be planted in memory of Mario Pasciullo in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday, June 24, 2001."
