I had the privilege of teaching with Marita at Kakabeka Falls School. She was full of cheer and kindness to all the staff and students. Marita was always there when help was needed. Her smile and laughter will be missed.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Marita. My deepest condolences to the family. Marita was always a pleasure and a lot of fun to be around. My fondest memories are from times that we traveled together to sheetmetal contractor conventions. She had an infectious laugh, enjoyed life and was an absolute joy to be around.

What fabulous memories I have of a true female rascal who attended P.A.C.I and sat right behind me in French class. Marita was a true scaly-wag and was loved by all. There is no doubt in my mind she will bring nothing but happiness to heaven,,,,that's Marita!!!
Sincere condolences to all her loved ones.

My mother Marguerite (known as Mugsy) was a childhood friend of dear Marita. They reunited 9 years ago on a trip from Toronto to Thunder Bay to search for childhood friends and family.
Marita, that day we came to your door and you and my Mom embraced will always stay with me. And then you came to Toronto to visit Mom.
You will remain in our hearts. RIP. Sending prayers and hugs to Jim and the family.
