MARK WIGGINS Obituary

WIGGINS
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Eli Haakon Wiggins at his home on August 6, 2025, at the age of 74.

Mark is survived and lovingly remembered by his sister Sandra, nephew Nathan, niece Clarissa and her two children, Raighne and Riah, many cousins, and special friends. Mark was predeceased by his father, Marvon, in 1992 and his mother Katherine (Kitty) in 1999.

A proud veteran, Mark spent many happy hours at the Branch 5 Legion. Mark worked at the Provincial Papers for more than 25 years until it closed at which time he took early retirement. Born and raised in Current River, he was well known in his later years as a regular patron of The Hodder Ave Hotel.

Mark will be fondly remembered for his passion for antique and rare vehicles which he loved to drive and display at car shows across Canada and the U.S.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to his dear friend Gilbert Drouin and his cousin Janice Pampu for their devoted care and support in countless ways. Special thanks also go to the Renal Clinic staff for their kindness and excellent care.

Cremation has taken place. All are welcome to Mark's Celebration of Life on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the Port Arthur Legion Branch 5 in the Club Room starting at 5 p.m. Address is 229 Van Norman St.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 575 Central Avenue, Thunder Bay.
