A Celebration of Life for Dr. Marlene Bloom will be held Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at the Italian Cultural Centre on Algoma Street. Family, friends and colleagues are invited to join in celebrating by sharing their memories and stories. A tribute to honour Marlene will begin at 12:30 p.m.

I have known and loved Marlene for fifty years. I miss our conversations, especially during the last days. I feel as I've lost a dear friend. I am a much better man for knowing her. I wish I could share in her life's celebration. It will have to wait. Godspeed.

I was very sorry to hear that Dr Bloom had passed away. She was my dentist for nearly 50 years and I always felt safe and comfortable in her chair. She was a wonderful dentist and I was very sad to lose her when she retired.
My deepest sympathy goes out to her family and friends.
