MARLENE BRESCIA Obituary

MARLENE BRESCIA
It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Marlene Brescia on October 30, 2025. Marlene was the beloved wife and lifelong companion of Ernie Brescia, with whom she shared a beautiful life filled with laughter, family, and friendship. She was a devoted mother to Brian (Gail) and Robert, and a proud grandmother to Matthew (Nicole) each of whom brought her immense pride and joy. Marlene will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and her wonderful gift for bringing people together. She loved to entertain and was known for hosting gatherings where everyone felt welcome, cared for, and well-fed. Whether it was a holiday dinner, a family celebration, or a spontaneous get-together, Marlene's home was always a place of joy, comfort, and laughter. In recent years, Marlene made her home at P.R. Cook Apartments, where she cherished the friendships she built with her fellow residents. She especially enjoyed the sense of community found in lively games of bingo and the fun of evening entertainment. Her spirit and enthusiasm brightened every room and brought smiles to all around her. Her legacy is one of generosity, hospitality, and love a reflection of the beautiful spirit she shared with everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
As per Marlene's wishes, there will be no formal service, but her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation to St. Joseph's Foundation of Thunder Bay - PR Cook Support Services.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in our hearts.
