Mary Tryble Obituary

Mrs. Mary Tryble (Schmidt) age 92 years resident of Grandview Lodge passed away in hospital on Wednesday December 20, 2000. Born in Poland she moved with her family to Canada as an infant settling in Fort William where she was raised and educated. Mary lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba for 50 years before returning to Thunder Bay. She is survived by her daughter Stephanie "Stella" (William) Anderson, seven grandchildren Daniel LeFaive, Michele (Tom) Johnson, Diane LeFaive, Gerald LeFaive, John LeFaive, Richard LeFaive of Phoenix, Arizona, Janet (Rustin) Banks, six great grandchildren Teri, Michelle, Michael LeFaive, John and Jeremy LeFaive, Lisa LeFaive all of Duluth, MN, nephews Ronald (Eileen) Christie, Donald (Helen) Christie of Thunder Bay, cousins also survive. Mary was predeceased by her parents, five brothers William, Michael, Peter, Nick, and Joe Christie. At Mary's request a private family funeral service has been held in the Blake Funeral Chapel on Friday, December 22, 2000 with Rev. Bohdan Bilinsky of the Ukranian Catholic Church of the Holly Cross officiating. Cremation has followed the traditional service and interment will be at a later date. If friends desire, in lieu of flowers, memorials to the Holy Cross Church would be appreciated.A tree will be planted in memory of Mary Tryble in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday June 25, 2000."
