Max Velanoff Obituary

It is with heaviness in our hearts to announce the sudden passing of our son on April 30th, 2019. Max was born at TBRHSC on April 27 critically ill and flown to London Health Sciences Centre where he continued to defy the odds and fight for his life. The next 3 days were a roller coaster of emotions, gains and setbacks. Yet, on Tuesday night, Max bravely lost his fight and we had to say goodbye to our beautiful baby boy. He was thought of and loved by many including his proud parents Mike & Molly (McInnes) Velanoff; grandparents Bryan & Toni McInnes, Ted & Lynda Velanoff; his uncles, aunts, and cousins Teddy, Lyndsie & Landen; Shaun, Jenny, Jase & Brody; and his many extended relatives and friends. A private service was held Friday, May 10, 2019 at St. Martin of Tours Church in Terrace Bay. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please consider a donation in Max's honour to the Ronald McDonald House in London, Ontario, the London Health Sciences Centre (NICU or PCCU) or the TBRHSC NICU. We are forever grateful for these organizations who have helped our family.

“You are rooted deep within my soul, a part of me forever. In the deepest parts of my heart, there you are.”
