MERLYN COLLVER Obituary

COLLVER
Mr. Merlyn Peter Collver, age 94 years, resident of Manitouwadge, ON, passed away peacefully at Sante Manitouwadge Health with family by his side on Monday, January 6, 2025.

Born on June 5, 1930 in Thessalon, ON, he was raised and educated in Thessalon where he attended Little Rapids School and Thessalon High. He was employed as a plant clerk with the mine, a role from which he retired in 1993, after 21 years of service. He enjoyed all outdoor activities and was a member of United Church.

Merlyn is survived by his loving wife, Jackie; children, Curtis and Darren; and sister, Ruth. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and life long friends.

Predeceased by his parents, Emerson and Grace; and brother, Clive.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 1:00pm in Boreal Baptist Church - 8 Shawinigan, Manitouwadge, ON.

If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
