MICHAEL NIGRO Obituary

MICHAEL ADOLPH NIGRO July 5, 1963 ~ March 5, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mike at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital with his family by his side. Mike was born and raised in Port Arthur, attending Algonquin Public School and Hammarskjold High School. He was employed by Provincial Papers for many years until a work injury forced him to retire. Long standing health issues restricted him but he never lost his sense of humour and ability to make a whole room laugh. Everyone knew his love for stock car racing, UFC, KISS, and most of all the Boston Bruins!

Mike is survived by the love of his life Keri McNabb and their dog Max, his father Gary, his children Michelle (Jared Stirrup) and Mikey, his grandchildren Damien, Jayce, their stepbrother Jaxx, and Aunt Mavis from Sault Ste Marie. He was predeceased by his mother Diane, and sister Cheri Lynn Francis who he loved dearly.

He will also be missed by friends Lenny Gavin, Darcy McCormack, George and Wayno Cheesequay, Lisa Todd, Wendy Idzi, Shirley and Kenny Everett, Susan McNabb, Monika McNabb, and others.

Cremation has taken place.
