POSTER, MICHAEL "MIKE"
Passed away suddenly at work on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Survived by his parents Neil and Bonnie Poster; sister Rhonda (Joe); and nephews Nathan and Matthew Marttunen. Predeceased by his grandparents Mike and Mable Poster, and Gordon and Ethel Newton. Mike had a lifelong love of bikes and even designed his own bike for 2, and his popular "high rider" bike. He loved mining and worked in the industry for many years in Manitouwadge. He was into fishing and camping in the summer and snowmobiling and ice fishing in the winter. Mike's last 5 years were spent with his loved ones in St. Thomas. Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of Mike's life has been held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570. Donations in Mike's memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
