Mr. Michael Harold Schnurr, age 79 years, resident of Thunder Bay passed away peacefully unexpectedly at St Joseph's Hospital on Friday, August 4th, 2017. Born November 4, 1937 in Hamilton, Ontario, he was raised and educated in Hepworth, Ontario by his grandparents Lawrence and Mary Schnurr. He was employed as a Industrial Millwright in the Northwest Mining Industry until his retirement. Harold is survived by his wife Estella King-Schnurr, son Michael (Bob) Schnurr, fiancee Rose Lamouelle, grandson Michael (Jon) Hart, granddaughter Caroline (Sarah) Mallory-York, sisters Betty Madigan, Ruth Dickert, step-children Alex King-Bell, Sarah King-Bell and special cousin Mary-Dale Graham. He is predeceased by: his wife Wilda Dorean Adlam-Schnurr, daughter Mary Carolyn Schnurr-Hart, grandson Christopher (Robert) Hart, mother Marie Schnurr-Jones, and grandparents Lawrence and Mary Schnurr of Hepworth Ontario. Cremation has taken place at Sunset Crematorium and interment will be held in Hanover Cemetery.

Will miss your phone calls talking about your life experience of living in Hepworth On of the old days, willl also miss the love you had for us yours sisters, Betty and l. Will never know the answers we had to so many questions but one day we will meet and maybe find all our answers
