It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael (Mikey) Yaroshuk Jr —son, brother, and uncle, who died on Friday August 26, 2016 in Sudbury, Ontario at the age of 46.
Born on June 30, 1970 he was the middle son who was always known for his quick wit and causing a ruckus somewhere in Westfort.
Mikey loved sports at a young age but not as much as he loved to work. Mikey found his way to Sault St Marie to work construction and as always continued to cause a ruckus, as this was what he said he was born to do.
Mikey had both passion and an intense sense of empathy, Mikey chose to live life to the fullest and never held back.
Mikey is survived by his mother; Linda Bannon, stepfather Gene Bannon, his younger brother Jason Yaroshuk (Brady, Taylor, Devin); Mikey was predeceased by his father Mike Yaroshuk Sr (Nov 26, 2000), his big brother Jimmy Yaroshuk (July 15, 2015). He was also predeceased by his grandparents Gerald and Mary Hladysh, Cecil Yaroshuk, Pauline Lewandowski and his favorite Uncle Ron Hladysh.
As per Mike's wishes cremation has taken place and a private “party” will be held upon his return home.

I am very sorry to hear of the loss of Jimmy and Mikey.
It was an honor to be a friend of your family for the
Time I was in Thunder Bay.
I have fond memories of Mikey and will cherish them.
May God continue to strengthen your family during this difficult time. I will keep your family in my prayers.

As former neighbors in Westfort, I saw Michael and his brothers growing up and playing with my kids. This is so sad to hear. I hope you think of Michael "fooling around" with Jimmy up there with the angels. God bless you and your family and know my kids and I are thinking of you.

My deepest sympathies, Linda, Gene, Jason and families. To lose a son, let alone two in such a short period must be truly heartbreaking. I will always remember Mikey for his good nature and funny deposition whenever we crossed paths in the old neighborhood or at the ball diamond. A true pleasure to have known Mikey and Jimmy, as well. Both taken from this earth, far too early, still with the potential to enrich so many other people's lives. RIP, my friend.

Linda Gene & family my deepest condolences on the passing of Micheal. I remember him growing up in Westfort when all the kids chummed together. He was taken from this earth far to soon as he had a lifetime ahead of him. May he R.I.P. now in the house of the Lord where he can soar with the eagles. God Bless you all and help you through this most difficult time.
