Nicholas Denisko Obituary

Dec. 28, 1928-Apr. 2, 2021

With deep sadness we announce the passing of Nicholas Denisko, born in Zbuzu, Ukraine, oldest son of the late Modest & Lena Denisko.

He arrived with parents & family to Canada July 1939 originally settling Alberta, later Niagara. At 14, he helped support the family, working in Northern Ontario Logging Industry. He served in AirForce several years(Halifax) where he met Delia. He was the original outdoorsman, riveting his audience with amazing moose stories.

Brothers John, Mike, & Andrew, dear wife Delia all predecease Nick.

Nick is survived by son Stephen, brother Bill, sisters Euphemia, Nancy, Olga, Anne, sisters-in-law Esther & Leona. Nick is lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends across Canada.

His happiest moments were spent with grandchildren, Alexander & Danielle.

Arrangements entrusted to Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel (St Catharines). Respecting his plan, cremation will occur. A Memorial is planned for summer.

The family thanks Garden City Manor for their care and compassion during Nick's stay. They are special people.
