Norman Haukeness Obituary

It is with deep sadness that the family of Norman Harold Haukeness announce his passing with family by his side on December 1st, 2015.
Born in the Dryden area August 31st, 1947 to Harold and Lila Haukeness. Norman was the oldest of four children. Norman made his way to the Lakehead in the late ‘60's where he trained and became a journeyman electrician and worked for IBEW Local 339 and 402 until his retirement. In his youth Norman enjoyed playing sports but his biggest passions in life were the outdoors, fishing, camping, hunting and trapping with friends and family. He was predeceased by his father Harold and survived by his mother Lila, his wife Ann, children Shawn (Lesley Robertson), Kelli Ann (Jim Chimbakis) and grandchildren Mikaela, Brianna and Cale; siblings Cheryl (Russ Waugh), Alvin (Guytanne Boilard), Susan Haukeness and many nieces and nephews. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.

Dear Ann,
I'm so sorry to hear about Norm's death. I'll always remember his being John's best man, and the fun we had at our wedding.
