Olive Schori's courageous spirit came to rest on October 24, 2025, at TBRHSC; she was surrounded by her loving family. Raised in Upsala, Olive's heart remained rooted in the land she cherished; she found joy in fishing and hunting. Alongside Peter, she built a cozy cabin on Weaver Lake in Graham, where they shared countless trapping and fishing adventures.
Olive's unwavering voice and unbridled humor inspired all who knew her; her generosity, love, and tireless work ethic left a lasting mark. Though her life's journey was not without its challenges, Olive faced each one with resilient determination.
Predeceased by her mother, Margaret Johnson; father, Patrick Johnson; husband, Peter Schori; and son, Peter Jr. Schori; as well as siblings Ruby, Janet, Patricia, Leonard, Jackie, and Edward (in infancy).
Olive lives on through her daughter, Patricia; grandsons, Tim and Brandon; and granddaughter, Cassandra. She is also survived by brothers Carson (Tania), Ben (Lesley) and Patrick; sisters Loretta and Margaret; and a vast circle of nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends, including Hanna and Manfred Schoor.
Following cremation, a celebration of Olive's life will take place at St. Anne's Church on Mission Road on Thursday, October 30, at 11 a.m., followed by a luncheon at the FWFN Community Centre (Bingo Hall) at 1:00 p.m. Interment will occur at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the TBRHSC Cancer Clinic in Olive's honor.
