PATRICIA BIRD Obituary

PATRICIA BIRD
"Wherever a beautiful soul had been there is a trail of beautiful memories"
Patricia Bird was born on February 11th, 1950, in Fort William, Ontario, and passed away on November 4th, 2025, at the age of 75.

Patricia was a beautiful soul who found joy and wonder in everything around her. Her mischievous spirit and infectious giggle brought warmth and laughter to all who knew her. She loved her family deeply, always sending birthday greetings and celebrating the joyful moments in all of their lives.

She was devoted to social justice and had endless compassion for people and animals in need, especially her beloved dog, Trip. She also loved living in her Co-Op in Toronto where she served on the board and took on many leadership roles throughout the years.

Patricia is lovingly remembered by her sister Kathleen Bird (Joe Levanto); her nephews Justin Durocher (Maressa Durocher) and Adam Durocher (Amanda Soderholm); her niece Nicole Gallinger (Chris Gallinger); her great-nieces and nephews and many cousins across the country. She will also be fondly remembered by her dear friend George Karrandjas, whose support and companionship meant so much to her. A special thank you to her cousin Twylla Bird Gayson, whose care and love in Patricia's final days will always be cherished. She is predeceased by her beloved mother Frances Bird (nee Byers) and her father Herbert Stanley Bird. Her life will be celebrated as she is laid to rest with her parents in Thunder Bay, summer 2026. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Toronto Humane Society.

Patricia's laughter, kindness, and generous heart will continue to live on in all who loved her.

Pat was wonderful person. She was passionate and really cared for people. She was a great teacher where I work at A-Way Express courier , giving me a ton of useful computer skills. She met her companion, George Karrandjas here. My thoughts and prayers are with him and Pat's family at this time.
