PATRICIA MALLETTE Obituary

PATRICIA MALLETTE
Patricia Ann Mallette (Field), age 90 years, resident of Thunder Bay, passed away at TBRHSC on March 11, 2026. Born in Negaunee, Michigan, raised in Palmer, she lived in Ishpeming, Michigan, as an adult until she moved to Thunder Bay in the 1970s. She was employed over the years at Hallmark, Kmart, and McKellar Hospital in the SPD Department and gift shop.

Pat was an avid gardener and loved to sing. She was a member of many choirs over the years, most recently the Silver Sounds and the choir of First Wesley United Church. She was a volunteer with the hospital and the church for the majority of her life. Most recently, she was enjoying volunteering at McKellar Park School with First Wesley, making sandwiches for the students.

Pat will be missed by her children, John Pepin (Liana), Marcia Graham, Jim Pepin (Lana), Annie Pepin, Bryan Malenfant, as well as her grandchildren, James (Kelly Ann), Jeffery (Carolyn), Jessica (Ryan), Kelly, Jessica (Adam), Hayden, Halle, and Brayden. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Nolan, Abigail, and Claire, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Pat was predeceased by her husbands Richard Mallette and Jean Malenfant, brothers Charlie Field and Richard Field, foster brothers Clyde and Russ Kohn and foster sisters Gertrude Kohn and Laura Luhr.

Funeral services will be held at First Wesley United Church, 130 Brodie St. N., on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 11:00am. Donations may be made to First Wesley United Church or the Charity of Your Choice. Service to be livestreamed at the YouTube channel "First Wesley Thunder Bay". (click live)

I got to know Pat from working with her at Kmart. What a beautiful woman. She was like a second mother to me. I will alway cherish her Christmas cards, that she sent every year.
Never will forget our laughs & conversations on the phone.
You are always loved & missed Pat.
