PATRICIA MOON Obituary

PATRICIA (PATTI) MOON January 12, 1951 - July 10, 2025
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Patricia Sue Moon on July 10, 2025 in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center with her family by her side following a battle with cancer.

Patti was born on January 12, 1951 in Terrace Bay, Ontario to Kathleen and Beggie Thorsteinson and was raised with four sisters. Patti married the love of her life, Paul Moon, on September 20, 1969 in Terrace Bay, Ontario where they raised four children.

Patti was employed at the Township of Terrace Bay for many years until retirement. Patti had a passion for the outdoors and camping with her husband Paul. She loved sewing, doing craft shows, cooking and celebrating events with family. Her greatest joy was family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, taking them to penny auctions and teas and teaching them the importance of family.

Patti is lovingly missed by her children Tracy (Jim), Sheri (Robert), Lori (Tim), and Neal, their families, her two sisters Ruth and Faye, and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Patti is predeceased by her husband Paul, her parents Kathleen and Beggie and her sisters Doris Priestley and Mavis Godin.

A Celebration of Patti's Life will be held at a later date. Should friends so desire in memory of Patti, donations can be made to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center Cancer Care or the McCausland Hospital.
