PATRICK CHIMENTI Obituary

Patrick Joseph Chimenti passed away unexpectedly at the age of 27 on April 26, 2024. Born July 27th, 1996 in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Patrick grew up in South Neebing, attended Nor'Wester View and Westgate High School where he made many memories and friendships lasting into adulthood. As a child he was fun loving, adventurous and always getting into some shenanigans with his buddies. He loved snowboarding, fishing, going out to camp, quadding and anything outdoors. As Patrick grew up he continued with those interests and started a career in roofing which he immensely enjoyed and took great pride in. His fondest memories were travelling with his dad and brother to tropical destinations. He had a great relationship with his mom, he could spend hours just talking with her and serving up something he cooked. Patrick was an animal lover and enjoyed spending time with Jake, Pablo and Rona. Anyone who knew Patrick could appreciate how his mischievous smile and infectious laugh could bring light to any room. The family takes comfort in knowing he will be reunited with those he loved and lost, especially his girlfriend Meagan. Patrick is predeceased by Grandfather Patrick Shilliday, Grandmother Nancy Harper, and Nonna Ida Chimenti. He is survived by his Mother Bonnie, Father Saverio (Gina), Brother Victor (Megan), Nonno Michele Chimenti, Grandfather Big Al and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends, by whom he will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. A celebration of Patrick's life will be held at The Chanterelle (206 Park Ave.) on Monday, May 6, 2024, 12pm-2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the DEK Foundation in memory of Patrick. Online condolences may be expressed at www.sargentandson.com.
