Patsy Diner Obituary

With sadness, we announce Patsy's death on April 28 2021, after a valiant 12 day battle with acute heart failure. Pat was born on August 11 1946, a true baby boomer, to Violet and Tiny Pritchard. She was the second of 5, Calvin, Patricia, Michael (d March 2020), Valerie, Glenn. Pat lived the past 52 years in BC, spending the last 40 years of her working life as a CUPW letter carrier, or, as she liked to joke, ‘a professional street walker'. In 1993 Pat suffered the very worst fate when her beloved 20 year old daughter, Valerie, perished in an apartment building fire. She never gave up, learning, with time, to endure the sadness, to smile, to laugh, to live once again. She embraced her life. Patsy leaves behind many supportive family members and dearly loved friends who will miss her forever. .... it's never going to be the same.
