Patti Brunwin Obituary

Patti Brunwin, age 43 years, resident of Thunder Bay, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014. She was born and raised in Thunder Bay. She attended Fort William Collegiate and Lakehead University, where she graduated with HBScN in nursing. Her work led her to Baudette, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Sioux Lookout, Thompson Manitoba, and later back to Thunder Bay to work at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. Patti was an avid animal lover. She enjoyed her time at camp with her dogs and cats. She also enjoyed curling and volunteering with St. John's Ambulance. Patti is survived by her mother Christine; sister Kelly (Joe), nephews Collin and Myles Harding; and best friend Aaron. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her father Monty; and grandparents Frank and Lola Brunwin and Jean and Jim Booth. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2014 in the Blake Funeral Chapel at 11:00am. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening in the Blake Funeral Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00pm. If friends desire, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Patti Brunwin will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove.
