Mr. Paul Holbert Dennison, age 76 years, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 7, 2015 with his family by his side in St. Joseph's Care Group. Paul was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on December 19, 1938, the son of Dr. John Hoyle Dennison and Ruby Kathleen Holbert. He attended F.W.C.I. and completed his BSc at the University of Manitoba before moving to the University of Toronto where he completed his BScPhm. Paul was a well respected pharmacist at McKellar Hospital, Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph's Care Group. He enjoyed retirement, traveling to Florida, going on cruises and especially being able to achieve his lifelong goal of traveling to Australia with his wife Janet. Paul loved to golf and was a member of the Fort William Country Club. He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his wife Janet, children Tom (Lori) Dennison, Melanie (Rusty) McMicken and Jamie (Zeena) Dennison, several grandchildren, sister Margot (Greg) Cox as well as by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Paul's Anglican Church, Ridgeway Street, with Archdeacon Deborah Kraft presiding. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation for friends will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, 21 N. Court Street. In lieu of flowers memorials to the T.B.R.H.S. Foundation Regional Cancer Centre or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Janet and Family, so sorry for your loss! I worked with Paul for many years at Mckellar and TBHSC. He was a remarkable man with a very kind soul. I have so many fond memories of him that made me laugh.

We feel sad that Paul has passed away but take comfort in knowing he is out of his pain. He was a wonderful man who always welcomed us into his home.
