PAUL SALMI
Mr. Paul John Salmi, age 76 years, passed peacefully on June 6, 2025 at Southbridge Roseview.
Paul was born on Friday, August 13, 1948 in Lavia, Finland. When he was 4 years old, his family came to Canada and settled in Port Arthur, Ontario. He worked for TransCanada Pipeline for over 25 years, retiring early in 2001 to enjoy life and his family.
A lover of sports, music, and comradery, Paul enjoyed Nascar and playing golf at Dragon Hills.
Paul will be missed greatly and lovingly remembered by his mother Terttu Salmi, brother Cary Salmi, daughter Tamara Salmi, grandsons Andrew Salmi and Mike Tough and great granddaughters Miah Salmi-Green and Cara Salmi-Craig.
He was predeceased by his father Erik Salmi. The family would like to thank Vivian Sharp, the staff at Southbridge Roseview, and Harbourview for all they have done for Paul and his family.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Paul on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Arbor Lounge of Harbourview Funeral Centre.
If friends so desire, donations may be made in Paul's memory to the Alzheimer Society.
