ANNA MARGARETPAULINE HENDERSONAugust 22, 1922 -November 28, 2013Pauline, loving mother of Susan and Michael Tracey, David and Laurie Henderson and Kerry and Lorne Skogberg, left this life to rejoin her husband Harold, brother Bill Reid and parents Ossie and Ina Reid as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, in-laws and friends who had gone before her. Born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, she grew up in Port Arthur in the Brent Park area, attending Prospect and P.A. Tech (Hillcrest). Beginning her secretarial career in insurance she later worked at the O.P.P. Headquarters on Algoma Street. She and Harold raised their family on Brent and Shuniah Streets. She moved to The Carriage House condo on Hodder Avenue after his death in 1992. Roseview Manor was her final home. Pauline was nanny to Dale and Laura Tracey, Mark and Jill Skogberg, and Christopher Henderson, Great Nanny to Anna McKay, Sister to Bob and Shirley Reid, Aunty Pauline to the nieces and nephews of the Henderson and Reid families, cousin to the many members of the Charles and Reid clans and life long friend to many at school, work and in the neighbourhoods where she lived. The family would like to acknowledge the kind and loving care that Mom received at the T.B.R.H.S.C., St. Joseph's Care Group and Roseview Manor. A service of remembrance will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, 21 N. Court Street with Rev. Lloyd Ivany presiding followed by a celebration of life at the Branch #5 Legion on Van Norman Street. As expressions of sympathy the family asks that you make a donation to Toys for Tots or the Branch #5 Legion to help them carry on the good works that they do for young and old.On-line condolencesmay be made atwww.sargentandson.com"
