Peter Owchar Obituary

Mr. Peter Owchar, age 85 years of Thunder Bay, passed away in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, on Wednesday, November 7, 2009. Peter was born in Arnes, Manitoba on August 12, 1922. Over the years, he worked at Saskatchewan Pool Elevator and Bruno's Construction Company. Peter is survived by his wife Lena (nee Balla); children: Shirley (Al) Jones, Barbara (Robert) Chondon, Patsy (Don) Anderson and Marvin Owchar; grandchildren: Kelly (Mike) Dronsfield, Shannon (Chris) Weeks, Kristopher Jones, Chris (Susan) Chondon, Mickey (Krista) Chondon, Patrick Chondon, Angie Anderson, and Marc Anderson; great grandchildren: Ryan and Danielle Weeks, Britney, Ryan, and Courtney Chondon. He was predeceased by his parents, Elsie and Roman; siblings: Mary, Anne, Walter, Eileen and John. A Memorial Visiation for the late Peter Owchar will be held on Thursday, November 15th, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street."
