I remember Mr Petrick as my grade 7 teacher at Shuniah School in 1952-3. He was always one of my favourite teachers and inspired me to become a teacher. My condolences to his family.

I remember back in the 70´s when getting the strap was what was done. When I was sent to principal to get the strap. He said to me, "Bobby, this is good news bad news situation, Bad news is I can give the strap or I can give you a second chance to never be back her again." I said what´s the good news? He said, "the choice is yours". Best lesson I was ever taught. He was an amazing principal. RIP Sir.

Sincere condolences on the passing of dear Peter. He will be missed immensely by his loving family. He was always a pleasant man and was a core part of many friend & family gatherings in the past which were always enjoyable and bring back happy memories.

I really liked Peter. I met him when I first started teaching as an Occasional Teacher for the Lakehead Board of Ed. He was a great Principal and I enjoyed working at his schools. After he retired I would see him out and about occasionally and would have good conversations. I´m sure as a family you will all miss him a lot. I´ll always think fondly of Peter.
