VELICKOVIC
It is with deep sadness that the family of Radmila Velickovic announce her peaceful passing on October 27, 2025 in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. Radmila was born in Serbia, Belgrade (V.M. Lug). She immigrated to Canada with her husband Ljubomir and two children. Radmila was a hard-working woman, she worked at the Eaton's Centre and Five Star Bakery. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, cooking and looking after her grandchildren who she loved so much. Radmila will be sadly missed by her daughter Samantha (Tony), her grandchildren Jason (Jen Gvora) and Megan (Chris) Byzewski and her great-grandchildren Aria and Beau with another one on the way. She will be missed by Robert (Anne) Brdar, Nancy (Jerry) Lemon and all of her nieces and nephews in Europe. She is predeceased by her husband Ljubomir, two sons Dragan and Zoran and Lepa Brdar. Thank you to those who visited Radmila while she was in the hospital. The family would also like to thank Bayshore, Paramed, St. Joseph's Hospital and the TBRHSC. Thank you to Rev. Kontantinos Tsialos for your beautiful words, Sargent and Son Funeral Home and to Riverside Cemetery for your care and compassion. To the Pallbearers for your assistance and a special thank you Milan Sepa and family for their continued support towards our family, it has not gone unnoticed. A private interment was held at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Hospital (807-768-4440) or to the TBRHSC (807-345-4673).
