Ranka Marinkovic Obituary

Ranka Marinkovic, born February 10th, 1930, age 92 years old, passed away peacefully at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital October 19th, 2022. Ranka and her husband came over to Canada from Yugoslavia in 1978, to be with her daughter Mira Jankovic and her two grandsons Steve and Doug. Ranka was better known to everyone as Baba. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Mira (Bozo), grandson Steven and his wife Kaitie, who Baba was very proud and happy to be able to witness their marriage. Her sisters Zorka, Milja Marie (Rajo), niece Barb Morriss (David), nieces Laurie and Jessica, her many relatives from Old Yugoslavia, the Jankovic family and the Jakobsen family. She is predeceased by her husband Mirko Marinkovic, her son-in-law Ranko Jankovic and her grandson Doug Jankovic. The family will have a private funeral at a later date.
