Rauni Yrjana Obituary
Rauni Marjatta Yrjana (Rahkola) passed away in her home on April 17, 2016, surrounded by love. Born July 7, 1929 in Kalajoki Finland, she moved to Canada with her children in 1960. Rauni was an active member of Hilldale Lutheran Church. She leaves to mourn her children, Kaisu (John) Fisken and Seppo (Sherry) Yrjana; grandchildren, Chantal, Ashlee (Darryn), Will (Leanne), Kalina and Allan; great granddaughter Michelle and great-great granddaughter Haylee; as well as her beloved sister Raili Vedenoja and family, and relatives in Canada, the United States and Finland. Predeceased by her parents, her brothers Antti and Arvo, and her son, Heikki. Funeral services for Rauni will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 11:00am at Hilldale Lutheran Church, with coffee and refreshments after the service.

I am deeply saddened by Rauni's passing. She was a warm, caring person to whom family was everything. I am sorry I will be not able to attend the funeral for medical reasons. My condolences to Kaisu, Seppo and families.
