Richard Berube Obituary
Mr. Richard Joseph Berube, 80 years of Nipigon, Ontario passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2003 in the Nipigon District Memorial Hospital, Nipigon, Ontario. Richard worked for the Township of Nipigon before he retired. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting and served as a guide when he first moved to Nipigon. He was an avid boxing fan and excellent fly fisherman. Predeceased by his parents - Jack and Mina Berube, by one sister Rita Dufour and by three brothers - George, Lawrence and one in infancy; he is survivedbyhis wife Jeannot of Nipigon, by two sons - Andrew Imbeault (& Gloria) of Nipigon an Michel Imbeault of Quebec City, Quebec, by one granddaughter Cynthia Imbeault, by sisters-in-law - Rose Berube of Nipigon and Lorraine (& Alan) Smith of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service, in the care of Elliott Funeral Home Ltd. , Nipigon will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2003 at 11 A.M. at Grace United Church, Nipigon with the Rev. L. Rowsell, Chaplain for Nipigon Hospital, officiating. Interment of cremains will be on Monday, September 22, 2003 at 11:30 A.M. at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Thunder Bay, Ontario. Friends so wishing may make donations to the Nipigon District Memorial Hospital."
