Uncle Richard was a kind and caring person who had an infectious laugh and was always ready with a very humorous story. I remember spending many hours playing games with him at camp and he would always make time for his nieces and nephews. Some of my fondest memories of our time together include sitting on the deck at camp and seeing Richard demonstrated great patience teaching me backgammon at the age of 10. Another fond memory was his great baking creations including the very famous Money Cake that many of us would ask for when it was time for our birthday. I didn't get a chance to see Richard much during my adult years but was very pleased that both Barb and Richard could make it out to the East Coast a few years ago and see my growing family. Even though Richard is no longer with us, the skills he passed on to others and the impacts he made with us will live on. Rest in peace Uncle Richard.
