Richard Gallinger Obituary
The family of Rick Gallinger painfully announce his passing, surrounded by loving family, on October 5, 2022. Rick worked at C.P. Rail (Carman) for 37 years, retiring in 2002. He is predeceased by parents (Norman & Delia), 8 siblings, grandson (Joey), son-in-law (Derek), in-laws (Murray, Sharon & Vicki) and many more relatives and friends. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend of 43 years Carol, children JoAnne Nimchuk (Brent), Tammy Nicholas, Gordon McCooeye, Ron Gallinger (Michelle) & Vicky Gallinger (Jeff), Grandchildren Charlie, Sasha (Brayden), Jessica (Jack), Haleigh & Tyler, Krystal, 2 great grandsons Waylon & Colson and 3 great granddaughters Kat, Leigh & Maleigha. Also survived by brothers-in-law David Bell (Pauline) & Don St. Amand and many loving nieces & nephews. Cremation has taken place. As Rick requested there will be no service. A private family remembrance will be held later. Donations would be appreciated to Lung Association, Cancer Society or Huntingtons Society.

The family of Rick Gallinger wish to express deep gratitude and thanks to Drs. Sellick, Miller, Bezanson from Palliative Care, Dr. Ward (M.A.I.D.), Dr. Mangatal and Dr. R. Balec, all the staff of Cancer Centre and all nursing staff of 1A for the excellent and compassionate care Rick received. A special thanks to daughters and granddaughter (Red Deer), our niece Kathy and dear friends Tara, Patty & Pam for all your help and support. You are all living proof that Angels do walk among us.
