So sorry to hear of Richard´s passing. The family lived on Gore street just down the street from us and he was always ready for a game of some sort with the rest of kids on the block. A real athlete that all of us looked to.

Dear Diane,
I am so sorry to hear about Dick´s passing! Bill (Sudsy) loved the guy! He was always so happy when Dick reached out through Bill´s many years of illness and the two Westfort guys would pick up where they left off! I think they both used the expression, "You can take the boy out of Westfort but you cannot take Westfort out of the boy!" I am sure they are at the Coney Island right now having sliders with the other Westfort men who have gone before them! Please know I am thinking about you with fondness and many memories of times spent with you and Dick!
