A CELEBRATION OF RICHARD'S LIFE will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 12pm - 3pm at the Prince Arthur Hotel in Thunder Bay. All who knew Richard are welcome to come and bring your favourite story or adventure and share with us.

Richard was born in Longlac, Ontario to Mary and Edward Isaacs December27, 1948, the youngest of 6 children. Richard grew up and attended school in Longlac and Geraldton. He started mining underground in Geraldton and Manitouwadge and finished in Shebandowan. He started working in the bush camps for Great Lakes operating heavy equipment then drove truck hauling logs and wood chips to local Thunder Bay mills. Richard is survived by his wife Eleanor, his children Rylie, Ian and Adam, his step-children Tina and Rob, grandchildren Chloe, Tristan, Nick, Liam, Ethan, Kat and Dorian, Mike, Travis and Justin and great grandson Jaxon, as well as many nieces and nephews, all who he loved dearly.
