Richard Marechal Obituary

RICHARD MARECHAL October 5, 1939 ~ September 6, 2025
Richard Clement Marechal passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Hogarth Riverview Manor with his family by his side.

Richard was born in Fort William to Joseph and Blanche Marechal and grew up in Rosslyn. Richard was one of five children.

Richard worked at the Upsala Shell Garage with his brother Albert and nephews Hank and Brian Kenuck.

Richard will be lovingly remembered by his niece Ann (Robert); grand-niece Roberta (Tyrel); great-grand nephew Phoenix; sister-in-law Donna as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

Richard is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Blanche Marechal; sisters Cecile Kenuck, Mary Holowka and Yvonne McNabb and brother Albert Marechal.

Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Patrick's Cemetery presided by Rev. Canon Ed Swayze. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
