Rick Schmidt Jr.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Rick Benjamin Schmidt Jr. on November 16 after a short illness. Rick was born in Fort William on February 5, 1970 to parents Rick and Pat Schmidt. In his early life, Rick enjoyed camping at Mirror Lake, ATV's, cycling, and weightlifting. He also had a lifelong passion for pro wrestling. Entering the work force, Rick was employed in the security field both with private companies and the Casino. Lately he was performing janitorial services at Lakehead University. Rick was a very devoted father, his children meant everything to him. He will be lovingly remembered. Survived by his children Stephanie, David and Daniel, stepchildren Josh and Leanne, father Rick, partner Jody Kelso, uncles Kenny and Denny, aunt Shelley and many cousins. Predeceased by mother Pat and stepmother Debbie. There will be a private family memorial service at a later date."
