Rita Anderson Obituary

Rita Karin Anderson, age 60 years, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 11, 2014. Rita was born on August 12, 1953 in Port Arthur. She graduated from the Confederation College Nursing program and later from Lakehead University. She worked at various hospitals in the region until her illness. Rita is survived by her sister Margaret Aho, niece Carolyn (Tracy) and family and nephew Wayne and family. Rita was predeceased by her parents Lars and Aune and brother-in-law Aulis Aho as well as numerous aunts and uncles here and in Finland and Sweden. Cremation has taken place and there will be a graveside service at a later date. Donations in memory of Rita to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Northern Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.God say you getting tired,When a cure was not to be.So He wrappedHis arms around you,and whispered "Come to me".You didn't deservewhat you went through,So He gave you rest.And when I saw you sleeping,So peaceful and free from painI could not wish you backto suffer that again.Arrangements have been entrusted to EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley St. at Algoma."
