ROBERT BEAUREGARD Obituary
December 27, 1954 ~ May 4, 2025 With heavy and broken hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Robert Paul Beauregard on May 4, 2025, in Nipigon, Ontario, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on December 27, 1954, Robert lived a life defined by generosity, craftsmanship, and an unwavering devotion to the people and places he loved.
An autobody man by trade and a master of all things hands-on, Robert was a lifelong builder and fixer. His talent, resourcefulness, and ingenuity were matched only by his willingness to help anyone in need. He could solve
almost any problem, often being described simply and truthfully: "If Robert couldn't fix it, no one could." But beyond his skill, it was his spirit that left the deepest mark - his sharp wit, contagious laughter, and heartfelt presence brightened even the darkest moments for those around him.
Robert's boundless love for family outshone even the greatest lake. Whether offering advice, sharing a story, or lending a hand, he made time for others with grace and ease. His generosity touched countless lives, not only through the things he built, but through the love and strength he shared so freely.
At the centre of Robert's world was his family, whose happiness and well-being were his greatest joy. He was predeceased by his loving parents, Paul and Jeannine Beauregard, and his brothers Donald and Paul. He leaves behind his beloved wife Kerry Beauregard; his cherished sons Kevin (Tricia) and Jeremy (Melissa); and his treasured granddaughters Raili, Natalie, and Tylar. He is also survived by his brother Maurice Beauregard, his sister Diane (Alex) Blakie, and a wide circle of extended family and dear friends. Robert had a love for German Shepherds, and is mourned by his faithful companion, Baloo. Robert found peace spending most of his time alongside Lake Superior, the solitude of Rossport, and the beauty of his hand-built retreat on St. Ignace Island - his "Little Bit of Heaven." There, he created more than a cabin; he crafted a sanctuary where adventure, reflection, and togetherness lived. Those who visited him there were welcomed into a world of beauty, peace, and laughter - a place that continues to shine in the memories of many.
As the ice begins to retreat from the Rossport shores, we imagine Robert embarking on one last journey - steadfast and smiling. His legacy of kindness, strength, humour, and humility will live on in every life he touched.
We love you too, Robert. And we always will.
