Robert Clark Obituary

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of an amazing husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend. Robert Diten Clark passed away peacefully at Hogarth Riverview Manor on Sunday, August 08, 2021 at the age of 91. Robert known as Bob to most of his family and friends was born in Beechwood, New Brunswick where he spent his childhood growing up in rural farm country. Finding the love of his life Marie they moved to Ontario where they married and raised their own family. Life was spent in North Bay, White River and Wawa where he enjoyed working in the forestry industry, specializing in operating heavy equipment for Abitibi and Domtar building bush roads, for the lumber industry used for the cutting and logging operations. He loved the bushlands and the outdoors. He loved to fish and hunt and spend time camping with his family and friends. He loved country music and played guitar and sang all his favourite tunes. He loved his vegetable gardens and spent years growing the best ones ever. As time passed and his family grew up and left home Robert and Marie moved closer to their family moving to Thunder Bay. Robert is survived by his daughter Barbara, son-in-law Wayne, sons James and David, daughter Carrie, granddaughters Trycinda, Tianna and Hazel and great granddaughter Kaycee and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his wife Marie, mother Francis, father James, brothers Douglas, Melvin, Fredrick and sister Florence. Interment and Celebration of Life will take place in White River, Ontario on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 1:00pm for family and friends where he will be laid to rest next to his wife Marie. A special thank you goes out to all the staff that took such wonderful care of him on Birch at Hogarth Riverview Manor, where they became his extended family and friends.
