It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Robert (Bob) Dalgleish, age 74, on September 27, 2007 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Bob was born in Dundee Scotland, the only child of Archibald and Helen Dalgleish, and immigrated to Canada at the age of 2. Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years Mary (Morrow), daughter Phyllis of Thunder Bay, sons Andrew (Janice) of Centralia, Brian (Mary-Ann) of London, grandchildren Michael (Tracy), Katherine, Kyle and Samantha. Bob spent his career as a chartered accountant with Revenue Canada working in Windsor, Ottawa, and London. After retirement he was able to enjoy even more time in the outdoors and spent his summers living at the cottage on Icarus Lake, fishing, birdwatching, and boating with Mary. Bob was an active member of the Ilderton Optomist Club. Special thanks go out to Dr. Vergidis and the staff of the Regional Cancer Center. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bob are asked to consider the
Cancer Society or CNIB."
